How to play The Music Deck, start to finish — objective, cards, deck building, and how a festival battle is won.
Two players each bring a saved track list into a festival battle. Each player fills their own active slots with songs, builds stacks, and triggers synergies to grow their own Vibescore — there's no shared gauge to fight over. The first player to reach 1,000,000 Vibe wins.
A track list is built from three card types:
Songs can appear as variants — remix, cover, live, acoustic, and more — which stack onto their base song without costing an extra active slot. Each player tracks their own Vibe score, starting at 0 and climbing as the match plays out.
Every card exposes four stats that stacking, synergy, and matchup rules read from during resolution:
Your own Vibe gates which intensities you can play: below 100 Vibe, only Pop cards; below 1,000, Pop and Soft; below 10,000, add Experimental; below 100,000, all four — including Hardcore.

Before battling, players assemble a track list of exactly 60 cards. You can build and name as many track lists as you like, and save deck presets — frozen lineup configurations for different battle contexts — that get validated against your current collection when loaded.

Your active slot count is gated by your own Vibe: 1 slot below 100 Vibe, 2 below 1,000, 3 below 10,000, and 4 from 10,000 onward.
Each turn follows a fixed order:

The battle ends the instant either player's own Vibe reaches 1,000,000 — that player wins on the spot, with no fixed turn count and no waiting for a track list to run out.
